Last year Roco issued a model of the 111 027-9 which was painted for the 850th anniversary of Munich. The Roco model is very detailed and serves as a fresh and colorfull attraction on every model railroad. I could not resist of buying the model and here it is. Enjoy it! It will be pushing around with some of my red doppelstock from the Danish manufacturer HobbyTrade.
The prototype was build in 1976 by the company Krauss Maffei, delivered to Deutsche Bundesbahn and put into service on the 22th of April 1976. It has resided in Munich its entire life.
